Vintage Ladybird Competition Terms & Conditions
- No purchase necessary to enter the competition.
- The competition is open to all residents in UK and Eire aged 18 or over, with the exception of employees of the Promoter or anyone else connected with this promotion.
- Entries must be received by 31st December 2007. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible or fail to reach the promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason.
- Only one entry per person.
- To enter the competition, upload images of your Ladybird childhood to our Flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/ladybirdvintage/. Alternatively, you can email them along with your name to vintage@ladybird.co.uk. Images sent via email must be low res jpegs.
- All valid entries will be reviewed by a judging panel made up of 3 members of the Ladybird marketing team. The winner will be the entry that in the opinion of the judges symbolises all that is good and great about the Ladybird generation.
- The winner will receive a Vintage Ladybird goody bag. The prize is not transferable, and there is no cash alternative to the prize
- The winner will be notified by either post or email within 4 weeks of the closing date. The winner must claim their prize within 30 days of the Promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the promotion rules.
- To obtain a list of winners for the prize draw please email vintage@ladybird.co.uk within four weeks of the closing date, stating the name of the prize draw in the subject heading.
- By entering this competition each entrant confirms that his/her entry is their wholly-owned creation and to the extent that such entry makes use of any third party materials that these have been fully cleared unless they are no longer protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights. Entrants will keep Penguin harmless from any claims in relation to their entry that the entry infringes the personal or proprietary right of any other person.
- Each entrant acknowledges that their entries may appear in both online and offline marketing material and that they have obtained the consent of all those featuring in their entries for them to enter this competition.
- By submitting an entry, an entrant grants to the Promoter a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to edit, publish, translate, modify, adapt, make available and distribute the entry throughout the world in any media now known or hereafter invented. Each entrant undertakes to complete any necessary documentation to formalise the licence. If you do not want to grant us these rights, please do not submit materials to us.
- The promoter will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running the prize draw, unless otherwise stated in the entry details.
- The winners agree to take part in reasonable post event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity.
- By entering the prize draw each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
